Experience the excitement of a UCWDC World Qualifying Event as dancers from across the country compete throughout the weekend in Ballroom 1, earning points toward the World Championships while showcasing incredible talent across multiple divisions.
💃 70+ Workshops
Expand your dancing with more than 70 workshops taught by outstanding instructors representing a wide variety of dance styles.
Workshops take place throughout the weekend in Ballrooms 2, 3, and 4, with additional educational sessions in the Practice Room, creating one of the most robust dance education schedules in the Midwest.
Whether your passion is country, ballroom, West Coast Swing, Latin, movement, wellness, or discovering something completely new, you'll have countless opportunities to learn, grow, and be inspired.
🏅 Social Dance League Event & National Championships
The Buckeye Dance Festival is proud to host a full Social Dance League event alongside the festival.
Throughout the weekend, dancers can compete in 22 social dance divisions, including a variety of Jack & Jill events across multiple dances and skill levels. These events are open to everyone, giving dancers of all experience levels an opportunity to compete, connect, and have fun in a welcoming social environment.
In addition to the open Social Dance League events, the Buckeye Dance Festival also hosts the Social Dance League National Championships.
The featured championship event is the Battle of the Buckeyes, where winners from qualifying Social Dance League events held throughout the region—and the qualifying event at the Buckeye Dance Festival itself—come together to determine the year's National Champion.
Whether you're stepping onto the floor for your very first Jack & Jill or competing for the Battle of the Buckeyes title, the Social Dance League was created to celebrate social dancers, build community, and provide a fun pathway into competition.
