Nashville Coaching Intensive | June 16–17

IEH Events is excited to bring an incredible coaching and educational opportunity to Nashville on June 16th and 17th featuring some of the most respected names in country dance competition, performance, and instruction.

This special coaching intensive will feature Dave Getty, the creator of Triple Two, one of the signature dances seen throughout competitive country dance today. Dancers will have the rare opportunity to learn directly from the creator himself through private coaching sessions, workshops, and educational classes focused on technique, movement, timing, presentation, and what judges are truly looking for on the competition floor.

Joining the event will also be Satu Ketellapper alongside Kimberley Mitchell, bringing additional expertise in styling, connection, movement quality, performance, and competitive dance education.

Private coaching sessions and private workshops will be available throughout both days, giving dancers individualized feedback and hands-on instruction tailored to their goals, whether they are social dancers, competitors, instructors, or performers looking to elevate their dancing and understanding of the craft.

A featured group class will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM for $45 per person, focusing specifically on Triple Two, directly from its creator. This class will dive into the foundations, concepts, musicality, technique, and competitive expectations of the dance, including valuable insight into what judges are looking for in today’s country dance world.
